Jasmine Almomar is an American architectural designer and fabricator based in New York City.

Professional

Jasmine received her master of architecture degree from the University of Michigan. With 4+ years of experience in the architectural field, she worked on a variety of commercial, hospitality, education, and recreation projects.

Jasmine’s currently pursuing licensure in New York State, and her most recent experience includes working on large-scale aviation projects with Corgan.

Fabrication

Before beginning graduate studies in 2017, Jasmine worked as a Designer/ Fabricator with Synecdoche Studio. She operated a variety of digital and physical fabrication tools while working with metals, wood, plastics, and composite materials. Final products included custom-built furniture and installation pieces.

Jasmine’s experience in fabrication further led her to explore robotics work at Taubman’s college of architecture fabrication lab.

Overseas

Jasmine traveled to the Rio Grande region to do a thesis on the U.S.-Mexico border to prompt critical awareness of the border situation and its surrounding ecology and underground water. Jasmine also traveled to the U.A.E. to research its urban conditions and work on architectural development projects in Dubai.

Jasmine’s goal is to continue building on the diversity of architectural knowledge and experiences in different sectors and regions.
